Impact Report: Building Pathways to Economic Mobility in Europe

In celebration of Europe Day, we are delighted to present our European Impact Report, showcasing our journey and achievements since 2015, when Generation launched its first operations in Europe. In this report, we present key highlights of our impact so far, including our durable employment outcomes, inspiring stories from our graduates, and insights from our in-depth research to support workforce transformation in Europe. 

Reflecting on our progress, we take pride in our rapid expansion in Europe, from initially being present only in Spain, to now building viable pathways to economic mobility for our 20,000+ learners in Spain, France, Italy, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Moreover, we’ve also expanded our impact, from training 172 graduates in 2015, to now placing over 15,000 graduates into thriving careers across 27 different professions. Driven by Europe’s twin green and digital transition, our programs have also evolved, with most of our training offering being focused on the technology and green sectors.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to our many funders and partners who have joined us in this journey. They have made an invaluable contribution to our mission of providing Europeans with training and life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible, while helping companies find the skilled talent they need.
