Nobody knows the power of employment to change lives better than Generation graduates. Our ever-growing global alumni community is engaged in a wide range of professional pursuits. Generation offers a range of professional development, mentorship, and community building for alumni, and their experiences and feedback help us to continually improve our programs. One of the ways we connect alumni globally is through the Generation Global Alumni Ambassadors Council.
Each year, a diverse and talented group of Council members are selected to collaborate with Generation’s global team and fellow alumni around the world for a 12 month period. During this time, they build friendships with peers worldwide, access training opportunities, enhance their skills, and help shape the future of our programs by sharing their experiences, insights, and feedback with Generation teams and other stakeholders.

I am a Generation Alum! How can I apply?
The Global Alumni Ambassadors Council runs for a 12-month period, with applications for the 2025
Council opening in October 2024. Ambassadors are selected after a thorough application and interview process.
Who is eligible to join the Council?
Our ambassadors represent Generation on a global stage. We seek alumni who are passionate about their Generation story and excited to shape the future of Generation through their contributions while working alongside peers from around the world.
We aim to assemble a group of dedicated alumni eager to give back to Generation and share their stories. Our goal is to assemble a group that reflects the incredible diversity from our global network’s experiences and perspectives, and we welcome alumni from all backgrounds.
All ambassadors must meet the following criteria:
- Graduate of a Generation program at time of application
- Employed at the time of application
- Access to a reliable device that allows for video calls and internet connection
- Proficient in English
- Able to commit 2-4 hours per month
- Active on social media and willing to post about Generation
- Comfortable sharing their Generation story publicly
- Embody Generation’s core values
